Clinical Supervision for Counsellors & Psychotherapists

For qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and students in training who are providing therapy to adult individuals, couples or groups.

My approach to supervision

I work relationally, creating a space where you can develop your own therapeutic style, think ethically about your work with clients and explore different perspectives if you ever find yourself feeling stuck.

The Seven-Eyed Model of supervision allows us to look at the relationship between you, your client and the wider therapeutic process. Where it can help bring clarity, I also draw on my creative skill set.

Engaging in regular safeguarding training also enables me to support you in thinking through challenging situations as they arise.

Ways we can work together

Individual supervision

Individual supervision provides a dedicated space to reflect on your own client work, explore what may be challenging you and develop confidence in your own way of working.

Together, we can think through what’s happening in the therapeutic relationship, consider different perspectives and find alternate ways forward.

Experience & Training

Group supervision

Group supervision provides another dimension to reflective practice.

Working in a small group gives you the benefit of different perspectives and experiences, while still having time to explore your own client work and development as a practitioner.

(in-person or online)

In-person sessions are conducted at my central Farnham (Surrey) therapy space or at Reveal & Heal in Basingstoke (Hampshire).

Online sessions are conducted on Zoom.

My psychotherapy training is integrative. My practice reflects Person-Centred, Gestalt and CBT approaches, alongside creativity and the arts. This breadth of experience provides a sound foundation for exploring different therapeutic perspectives in supervision.

My experience as a clinical supervisor includes working with Level 4 counselling students on placement in a hospice, a group of recently qualified counsellors, as well as individual supervision with an experienced integrative psychotherapist.
